Major Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for retention & value expansion with assigned accounts.
2. Develop broad relationships with key molecular lab stakeholders including clinicians and administration that make purchasing decisions and use our products.
3. Responsible for selling, application support, customer service, and support for Level 1 Service: repairs (< 1 Hour).
4. Call in Sales Acquisition Team (SEs) if they see opportunity for capital equipment new line of business sale or system upgrade.
5. Become advisor/consultant to customer on lab productivity, use and/or design.
6. Driven to produce by increasing sales to existing accounts.
7. Works the system for the customer.
8. Educates customer through structured training.
9. Promotes customer relations by soliciting feedback.
10. Single point of contact that responds to the customer promptly.
11. Ensures that all activities are performed in compliance with quality system requirements.
12. Develop strategic growth plan at the territory level and leverage the plan on a daily basis.
13. Execute account plan tactics to grow existing business.
14. Conduct client business reviews.
15. Act as Abbott point of contact for clients to handle any issues or support requests.
16. Work with customer to ensure the entire Abbott solution is being utilized as expected.
17. Continue to manage post-sales customer support activities.
18. Consult with customer to improve operations and KPIs.
19. Develop relationships with all relevant stakeholders such as Lab Director/Manager etc.
20. Oversee progress of cross-functional implementation team (post-sale).
Education:
Bachelor or Master degree or equivalent in Molecular Biology, Diagnostics, or Health Care.
Background:
Previous experience in the diagnostics industry.
Retaining existing business and ability to drive growth.
Strong understanding of key stakeholders and customer dynamics.
Strong solution selling and relationship building skills.
