This role is part of the Hitachi Energy team developing a Power Electronics program in Krakow, Poland.We provide cutting-edge solutions for renewable energy integration and storage systems, based on power electronics and advanced control systems. Our work spans large-scale power plants as well as commercial and industrial applications, offering tailored solutions to meet our clients’ needs. We support our customers throughout the entire product lifecycle, from initial design and planning to post-sales technical assistance, delivering services across five continents.We take pride in being an organization fully committed to equal opportunities.About the RoleOur Innovation & Product Development Team is based in Bollullos de la Mitación (Seville, Spain). As part of this team, you will work in a highly skilled multidisciplinary environment, collaborating with engineers specializing in power electronics, control systems, firmware, software, hardware, testing & validation, and mechanical systems.You will contribute to developing innovative modular converter platforms for a range of grid-connected and DC power systems. Your work will push the boundaries of efficiency, size, and operational performance. Key Responsibilities:Conducting measurements using laboratory instruments.Reviewing test results and ensuring quality control.Performing wiring and equipment assembly.Preparing certification test procedures.Monitoring test benches to ensure proper operation.Drafting technical reports.Maintaining laboratory inventory.Supporting engineering teams during testing and commissioning.Ensuring proper data collection and documentation from tests.Guaranteeing test benches comply with electrical safety standards, reporting potential risks.Assisting in the installation, maintenance, and repair of test benches.Required Qualifications:Technical degree (FPII, Higher Technician, or equivalent) in one of the following fields:Advanced Degree in Electricity & Electronics (specializing in electrical machines, electrical installations, or naval electricity).Advanced Degree in Electrotechnical Installations, Industrial Engineering (Electricity), or Industrial Electronic & Automation Engineering. Minimum of two years of experience in the listed responsibilities. Experience in electrical panel wiring and assembly. Proficiency in laboratory instrumentation and test benches. Strong knowledge of electrical testing methodologies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and report writing.
