Position : Molecular Account Executive (País Vasco, Navarra, Cantabria, Norte de Castilla y León) - Primary location Bilbao.
Major Responsibilities :
1. New business acquisition.
2. Renewals of expiring contracts or new tenders issued by existing customers, including price negotiations to ensure customers have the right prices.
3. Establish value propositions and build business cases.
4. Post-sale involvement with customers.
5. Develop broad relationships with key molecular lab stakeholders including decision-making units, clinicians, and purchasing departments.
6. Serve customer requests and forward them to the respective Service department regarding technical and applicational questions.
7. Act as an advisor / consultant to customers on lab productivity, use, and / or design.
8. Maintain customer data in the CRM system, reporting activities and market data.
9. Be the single point of contact that responds to customer inquiries promptly.
Education :
Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent in Molecular Biology, Diagnostics, or Health Care.
Fluent in English.
Background :
1. Experience in IVD laboratory diagnostics business.
2. Sales experience preferred, but not mandatory if having strong experience in the molecular diagnostic field.
3. Mandatory experience in the molecular laboratory field.
4. Strong experience in maintaining and developing customer relationships.
5. Native in local language; English and other languages are advantageous.
6. Account Manager position requires an average of 70% travel activity.
