Under the direction of the Technical Operations Engineering Manager, the role manages and/or supports most aspects of a project or initiative. Responsibilities include: Problem identification and root cause analysis. Project management and financial analysis. Project development and efficiency or productivity improvement. Problem resolution. Interfacing directly with other San Lorenzo and Corporate functional groups to ensure that goals/objectives are met within GMP/ISO compliance. Key Responsibilities: Manage and execute projects and/or programs of low to medium complexity ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, company standards, operation requirements, and business needs. Lead and/or support the optimization of process output and throughput, equipment utilization, equipment downtime, waste reduction/yield improvements, budget management, standard cost, and capital investment management. Challenge the status quo and develop new ideas within incoming processes. Work on NC Quality actions files from origination to full cycle completion and final approval. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Company Policies, and Federal, State, and Local Government Regulations. Coordinate communications and interfaces within end users (Ethicon San Lorenzo) and machine manufacturers or suppliers. Write, develop, and implement validation procedures. Plan and develop own methods and take actions in the absence of specific instructions. Develop and present new or improved methods. Quality Services must be of high quality to prevent or reduce production downtimes. Engage in contacts with personnel at all levels within the organization and interface with appropriate manufacturing representatives to ensure effective technical support for manufacturing operations and projects.
