Responsibilities
* Formulate a strategy prioritizing financial growth and customer satisfaction.
* Research new markets and customer needs to assess their potential.
* Arrange business meetings with potential and current clients using relationship-based methods.
* Promote and demonstrate the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.
* Conduct telephone calls and in-person visits, presenting to existing and prospective clientele.
* Prepare clear and effectively written proposals/quotations for clientele (new and present).
* Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices, etc.
* Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
* Establish and nurture long-term relationships with new and existing customers in the assigned territory.
* Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
* Develop and oversee a customer value strategy for current clients, showcasing profile, share, and potential value.
* Identify advantages and compare organization’s products/services.
* Plan and organize personal sales strategy by maximizing the Return on Time Investment for the territory/segment.
* Provide management with reports on customer needs, issues, interests, competitors, and new product or service possibilities.
* Stay updated on product usage, technical services, market trends, competition, and promotional strategies.
* Participate in trade shows and conventions.
* Enter/dispatch/trace all orders for commissioned accounts.
Requirements and Skills
* Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive, or a relevant role.
* Experience in customer support is a plus.
* Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
* Proficiency in English.
* Market knowledge.
* Communication and negotiation skills.
* Ability to build rapport.
* Time management and planning skills.
* BSc/BA in business administration, sales, or relevant field preferred.
Territories
Within Canada; GTA and surrounding areas.
Reporting
Reports directly to the General Manager.
Pay Range
$60,000 – $65,000 annually (plus commission).
