Qualifications
1. Degree in Computer Science, IT, or similar field is a must; Master’s is a plus.
2. Data engineering certification (Microsoft) is a plus.
3. Previous experience as a data engineer or in a similar role.
Knowledge and Skills
1. Good understanding and experience in Cloud Data warehouses; Azure Synapse is a plus.
2. PowerBI knowledge is a plus.
3. Technical expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
4. Knowledge of programming languages (SQL at minimum; Python is a plus).
5. Hands-on experience with SQL database design.
6. Great numerical and analytical skills.
7. Good English level required; French is a plus.

Job Responsibilities
The Junior Data Engineer is responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure and systems required for efficient data collection, storage, and processing. This role involves developing data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and optimising data workflows to support analytics and business intelligence efforts. To succeed in this data engineering position, you should have strong analytical skills and the ability to combine data from different sources. Data engineer skills also include familiarity with several programming languages and knowledge of machine learning methods.
Key Responsibilities
1. Data Pipeline Development: Develop and maintain robust data pipelines to collect, process, and store data from various sources.
2. Data Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor data quality measures to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data.
3. Database Management: Manage and optimise databases and data storage solutions to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.
4. Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that support business objectives.
