This position reports to Field Service Manager.
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will be part of the team that executes the implementation processes of the AMR product catalogue: Flexley Tug, Flexley Mover, and Flexley Stack, in various work environments at the client, as well as the implementation of different technical-technological modifications. You will be part of a high-performance team providing technical details, deadlines, and executing the different deliverables associated with the project file. The work is carried out both at ABB's facilities in Madrigalejo del Monte (Spain) and at client facilities inside and outside Spain, with an approximate estimate of 40-50% travel.
You will support the solution analysis process and the design-development phases, being responsible for the validation and execution processes of the start-up to ensure successful delivery of the project deliverables on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality and safety guidelines. You will be mainly accountable for:
* Supporting the process of identifying and defining technical requirements.
* Supporting the system development process to cover the identified requirements within security standards.
* Ensuring proper execution of the validation process of the solution to be implemented within the expected time frame at the lowest possible cost.
* Executing the start-up ensuring correct implementation of the proposed system at the client's facilities.
* Creating and delivering the work plan and risk assessments relevant to your engineering discipline.
* Managing safety to reduce occupational risks and eliminate accidents during project development.
* Ensuring clear, valid, reliable, and technically accurate documentation during the development process.
* Assisting project managers and project lead engineers in technical reviews and discussions with clients, partners, subcontractors, and suppliers.
* Being responsible for the execution of project deliverables associated with the project technical file.
Qualifications for the role
* Demonstrable experience of at least 1 year in customer commissioning activities and incident resolution (preferably with assistance experience abroad).
* Candidates should preferably come from a Higher Vocational Training course on Automatic Regulation and Control Systems or related fields, or from a Technical/Higher university education course in industrial automation, industrial electronics, robotics, or similar fields.
* A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines.
* High level of self-motivation, curiosity, and desire to learn about new technologies.
* A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
* Professional competence in general and technical English, both spoken and written.
