Purpose of the Role:
As a Marketing Controller for Havaianas, you will play a crucial role as the financial key contact related to Marketing budget- you will be the key point between the Marketing and the Finance team - in supporting and coordinating, various data analyses to enhance the brand visibility & marketing investments efficiencies.
This role involves administrative tasks, project coordination, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of marketing investments.
Key responsibilities:
Marketing Budget
* Budget building, tracking report and expense management for marketing initiatives.
* Closing, rolling forecast tracker management by monitoring the deviations of the actual figures versus budget and rolling forecast
* Working with each department to ensure local adherence to the group phasing and budgetary processes.
* Ensuring each local marketing manager and HQ responsibles have completed their monthly and quarterly requirements linked to budget and forecast
* ROI calculations for marketing campaigns
* Other ad-hoc accounting requirements from the Marketing department
* Data analysis & follow up : interpret complex data sets to provide actionable insights to optimize our marketing expenses
* Identify Kpis, patterns, and opportunities to support informed decision-making in terms of marketing investments to optimize our budget.
* Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to support management in making informed decisions.
* Evaluate existing Marketing financial processes and workflows for improvements
* Creating PowerPoint presentations on budgets and other financial metrics to present to management and cross functional teams.
Marketing Administrative Support:
* Marketing Invoicing process management
* Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and propose solutions that address great dashboards.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
* 3+ years of experience in financial control, budgeting, or cost management, preferably in a marketing-related industry.
* Strong analytical skills with experience in financial modeling and reporting.
* Proficiency in Excel.
* Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
* Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced international environment.
* Experience in Controller within a Marketing company is a plus
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
* Used to work tight dead-lines in a multi-task environment.
* English language speaker is a must.
