Job Responsibilities
1. Control of manufacturing information systems, including the timely and accurate preparation and reporting of forecasts, budgets, and monthly management accounts.
2. Lead, train, and develop employees in the Controlling Department.
3. Drive the factory to the targeted performance, implementing tight budgetary control over spending and highlighting potential savings.
4. Prepare monthly factory reporting pack including both financial and non-financial KPIs like material waste rates, productivity, efficiency of machines, stock days, and Capex, as well as comments and explanations for financial results with analysis of operational performance of the factory.
5. Highlight and report on any significant variances in management accounts and make recommendations as necessary.
6. Establish and maintain transfer costs and product cost build-up.
7. Prepare and review capital investments.
8. Work closely with the Finance Manager Operations EU Specialist Factories and the Head of Finance for GSC Europe.
9. Provide the management team with relevant data to support the decision-making process and make proposals to improve the factory financial result.
10. Support any local or Group Audits.
Qualifications
1. The ideal candidate should have significant Finance & Controlling experience and knowledge of production and logistic processes.
2. The successful candidate is likely to possess a University degree, preferably in Economics or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial role.
3. Strong financial analysis and problem-solving skills, able to provide operational solutions including the ability to think outside the box and provide incremental efficiency opportunities.
4. Pragmatic in approach and able to prioritize and focus on key drivers to improve business performance.
5. Well versed with the use of SAP / Major ERP and maximizing the benefit of systems.
6. Objective self-starter with high integrity able to develop an independent perspective of what is needed after taking multiple inputs (internal and external) and able to have hard transparent conversations around risks, issues, design, and clearing obstacles to delivery.
