ABXTA currently have an opportunity for a talented Technical Writer.
The Technical Description Writer will be responsible for crafting precise and detailed descriptions of services and projects delivered by consultants to its clients. This role requires a deep understanding of both the technical aspects of services offered and the ability to clearly communicate these details to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES
1. Create detailed service descriptions that clearly outline the scope, deliverables, methodologies, and timelines of consultancy projects.
2. Ensure that all technical documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and easy to understand for clients and internal teams.
3. Collaborate with technical teams, project managers, and consultants to gather all necessary details about services and projects.
4. Develop and maintain a standardized template or format for all project and service documentation to ensure consistency across all company outputs.
5. Update and refine documentation practices as needed to keep pace with industry standards and client requirements.
6. Adjust documentation based on feedback to better meet the needs of clients and project teams.
7. Conduct thorough reviews of all technical descriptions and project documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
8. Address any discrepancies or gaps in information, and revise documents as necessary.
9. Prepare and present reports to stakeholders about the status of the documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
MANDATORY
1. Proficiency in English language and high attention to detail.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Communications, Engineering, or a related technical field.
3. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in technical writing or documentation, preferably in a consultancy or project-based environment.
4. Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand complex project details and translate them into clear, actionable documents.
5. Understands key contract law principles and industry-specific terms. Knows how legal issues like intellectual property and data privacy affect contract management.
6. Has relevant experience in sectors like IT, marketing, or finance, enhancing project insight and documentation relevance.
7. Proficient in documentation and presentation software, such as Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and potentially Reporting software like MS Excel.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
9. Extremely high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
PREFERRABLE
1. Spanish – Intermediate/Advanced level in oral and written.
2. Can incorporate legal standards into project documents to ensure they are compliant and reduce risks.
3. Skilled in methodologies like Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and can adapt documentation accordingly.
4. Proficient in utilizing ChatGPT prompts as an effective support tool.
5. Holds a certification in technical writing, ensuring quality and clear documentation.
WORKING CONDITIONS
1. Hired as an external consultant.
2. Working Hours: Mon-Fri 8.00/10.00-16.30/18.30 (Spanish Time).
3. Salary: 3,000 EUR gross/month (12 payments per year) reviewable after succeeding probation period.
4. Available on European Time Zone.
5. Travel availability every 3 months, for 1 week.
