Account Manager (German Speaker) Role
This position requires relocation to Bratislava. Remote work is not possible. Amazon will support relocation for successful candidates.
We are looking for a candidate with German language skills to join our team supporting EU Customer operations on Amazon Business. As an Account Representative, you will have the opportunity to support the growth of our German customers on Amazon Business.
Our team educates customers on how to optimize their growth on Amazon Business and provides them with solutions to be sustainable through our processes/self-service features. We continuously simplify processes, improve vendor interactions, and drive scalability & automation by partnering with in-country Business partners, Tech and Product teams thanks to our unique position as process experts exposed to daily vendor facing activities.
The successful hire for this role must be comfortable discussing operational issues with customers over the phone in German, using excellent communication and listening skills. Managing a valuable portfolio of customers' accounts and their business relationship with Amazon is crucial. This is an exciting opportunity to learn about our solutions and how they drive the overall Amazon business.
Key Responsibilities
* Propose new services or features to customers to build joint business plans with Amazon.
* Optimize customers' portfolios, spending growth, and operational efficiency with Amazon Business.
* Demonstrate natural curiosity to learn internal business tools, programs, and processes to identify opportunities while delivering excellent customer experience.
* Conduct deep-dives to identify new growth opportunities for customers and automate processes for better purchasing partner experience.
* Partner with EU Sales teams and Product Management teams to provide customer perspectives and ideas for product improvement.
* Take ownership of impactful business-driven projects by engaging with internal stakeholders to dictate project direction.

About the Team
Based in Bratislava, our Amazon Business team aims to lead customers to mutual success by guiding them, building trust, and challenging ourselves and the status quo. The successful candidate will join a young and dynamic department covering 5 EU markets in a multicultural environment. Basic Qualifications
* Language skills: fluent English (min. C1) AND German language (min. C1)
* BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Contributes to a positive team environment
* Confident in using Microsoft Package (especially Outlook and Excel)
