Due to the great growth we are experiencing, we want to strengthen our staff with a Production Directo. At Seabery we develop and manufacture AR / VR simulators focused on improving learning processes in different professions. We are the largest Augmented Reality company in Spain and leaders in our field of specialization worldwide. We are a global reference in Augmented Training and industrial gamification for manual skills training in industry.
In order to achieve its objectives, Seabery has a highly qualified team of engineers, specialized technicians, economists and business development specialists, among others. This critical role encompasses the full spectrum of manufacturing activities, including procurement, warehousing, fabrication, and quality control. The Head of Manufacturing will be responsible for ensuring efficient production, maintaining high-quality standards, managing a team of professionals, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
What do we need you to help us with?
1. Strategic Leadership and Management (20%): Develop and implement the overall manufacturing strategy, aligned with the company's strategic objectives. Provide leadership and direction to the Procurement, Warehousing, Fabrication, and Quality Control teams. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and accountability.
2. Team Management and Development (20%): Directly supervise and manage the team leads for Procurement, Warehousing, Fabrication, and Quality Control. Conduct performance reviews, set individual and team goals, and provide coaching and mentoring.
3. Production Planning and Execution (25%): Oversee the entire production process, from raw material procurement to finished goods. Ensure production planning and schedules are met, while maintaining quality standards and optimizing resource utilization.
4. Procurement and Supplier Management (10%): Oversee the procurement of raw materials, components, and supplies, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
5. Warehousing and Inventory Management (5%): Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and shipping. Optimize warehouse layout and material flow.
6. Quality Control and Assurance (10%): Establish and maintain a robust quality management system (QMS), ensuring compliance with relevant standards (e.g., ISO 9001). Oversee quality control inspections throughout the production process.
7. Process Optimization and Continuous Improvement (10%): Continuously analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality.
What type of profile are we thinking about?
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, or related field) is required. A Master's degree is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in a leadership role (e.g., Production Manager, Plant Manager, Operations Manager).
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (fabrication, assembly, etc.). Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
Language Skills: Fluency in Spanish (native) and English (C1 level) is required.
