Job Description
1. Write and disseminate press kits, pitches, publisher notices, calendar listings.
2. Advise on marketing and advertising copy and provide editing for brand consistency.
3. Develop design and artwork in accordance with corporate standards for advertising and hotel collateral.
4. Oversee layout and design of ads, collateral, and any other projects.
5. Propose new and creative ideas/concepts to improve overall brand standards.
6. Study and prepare layouts, proposed artwork sketches, and related materials.
7. Determine the most appropriate style, techniques, and medium to produce desired effects and meet reproduction requirements, or receive specific instructions on these variables.
8. Formulate concepts and present illustrations and details from models, sketches, memory.
9. Analyze illustrations at various stages of completion and make changes as necessary.
10. Select type, draw lettering, design materials, or perform related tasks.
11. Build positive relationships with local media and industry partners in key markets.
12. Develop and maintain all media lists and contact information.
13. Maintain an up-to-date photo and video library, including a photographic record of all media and special events.
14. Extend the brand's reach with marketing partnerships and non-traditional media.
15. Develop proactive marketing and communication plans (monthly and annual) aimed at achieving results and building awareness, thereby maximizing the power of the brand worldwide.
16. Develop sponsorship opportunities and partnerships that enhance and support brand development.
Qualifications
1. Minimum 2 years of experience in a related position.
2. Degree in Marketing/Communication or related field.
3. Degree in Graphic Design or related field.
4. Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, database marketing, email, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns.
