POSITION: Business Development Manager – Southern SpainSECTORS: HVAC, electrical or plumbingSALARY: €40,000, bonus & company carLOCATION: Seville or Malaga areaOur client is the global leader for innovative products in HVAC, Electrical & Plumbing in the market. As their business has grown so has its operational footprint with its UK Head Office and manufacturing site, they are also based in France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Australia, India, and USA.As a result of continued growth, they are looking to recruit a new position of Business Development Manager to be responsible for increasing sales & market share with several key accounts with the preferred base in and around either Seville or MalagaTheir route to market is through a wholesaler/distributor network.Key Responsibilities will include: -Working with the Head of Sales, Iberia to ensure close management of key wholesalers/distributorsIdentify and agree new wholesalers to target for the regionOptimise the breadth of our client’s range & increase market share with existing accounts through merchandising and training (at branch level) ensuring their brand is high profileParticipate in Exhibitions, Trade Fairs, Wholesaler/Distributor branch trade events & sales meetings as requiredMonitor stock levels & competitor products and activitiesPerform regular training at wholesaler/distributor branchesCandidates’ profile, background and experience: -Fluent in English is essentialHas worked within a wholesaler/distributor/retailer networkExperience in either HVAC, Electrical or plumbing sectorsIndependent worker who is confident in using their own initiativeStrong commercial insightWillingness to travel frequently (anticipate 75% of time will be in the field)Our client is looking to for the successful candidate to start early 2025.Interested candidates should forward their CV in strictest confidence to Paul Davidson @ PDA Search & Selection Limited
