Summary
The Senior Manager is responsible for establishing and implementing the Market Access (MA) and Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) strategy for the Inflammation and Immunology (IAI) franchise of Incyte in Iberia. The Senior Manager works under the supervision of the Iberia Market Access Director and in close alignment with the EU VAP team. The initial focus of this role is on ruxolitinib cream in its launch indications of vitiligo and atopic dermatitis.
This innovative therapy will be the first approved treatment for vitiligo in Europe. To address the unique challenges of this launch, the Senior Manager will need to work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop and demonstrate the true burden of disease as well as the benefits of treatment for healthcare systems and patients. The Senior Manager will bring a strong understanding of the local market context and insight to the development of a local access plan, including the submission of the P&R dossier with all supporting economic and value components. The Senior Manager is part of an innovative and enthusiastic Iberia team where every contribution counts. The role is based in the Iberia office in Madrid and this will be on a contractor basis.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Generate Evidence: Plan and execute local evidence generation activities in support of value arguments, e.g. RWE aligned with field access team, MSL team. Develop and deliver solid and relevant Health Economics (HE) value arguments and tools for IAI products, including budget impact and cost-effectiveness models.
* Engage with external stakeholders: Identify and prioritize key IAI stakeholders. Engage appropriately with local payers and health authorities. Work with the Spanish Market Access Director and affiliate team to define national/regional/account strategies (engagement, negotiations) aligned to company practices and guidelines.
* Achieve P&R Excellence: Support strategic access planning for P&R and regional/account access. Develop P&R submissions aligned with global and EU MA strategy. Execute other P&R relevant submissions including IPT, Genesis, and others.
* Collaborate with the Brand and EU VAP team: Provide input into the development and support of the brand value concept and develop tools for the delivery of the brand value messages to payers, clinicians, pharmacists, and other stakeholders.
