Join our Transport & Logistics team in Madrid and be the technical wing man / woman for your sales colleagues in Spain, Italy and Portugal. Your responsibilities include:
* Pre-sales: Identification and understanding of customer needs by providing support and advice to our sales teams based in Spain and Italy to effectively integrate them into our global T&L product portfolio that includes pallet / parcel weighting / dimensioning systems, among others.
* Independent management of projects / technical solutions in collaboration with global and regional customers across various country borders.
* Conducting objective process and risk assessments.
* Development and optimization of sales resources to specifically promote and expand the knowledge of market organizations.
* Collaboration with the sales teams in organizing eDemos, trade shows, and customer visits.
* Acting as a central point of contact for sales teams to obtain relevant information about production processes and keep close collaboration and interactions with our post-sales and service tech teams.
* Collaboration with product specialists, engineers from research and development, and global product managers.
What You Need to Succeed
* Education: Completed technical degree (e.g., in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering) or comparable technical training (e.g., as a technician) with solid experience on technical solutions.
* Professional Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a role providing technical support to sales teams with systems solutions in the fields of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Process Engineering.
* Experience in International Project Environments is a plus.
* IT Tools: Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of SAP is desirable.
* Languages: Very good Spanish language skills and professional English level. Portuguese and Italian skills are a plus.
