About the Role – Key Responsibilities
Cash Management and Treasury Operations:
1. Monitor daily cash balances and cash flow projections to ensure liquidity requirements are met.
2. Execute cash management activities, including cash positioning, funding, and disbursements.
3. Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to optimize cash management processes.
4. Implement electronic banking systems and manage tools like Kyriba.
5. Handle payments to suppliers, payroll, taxes, and guarantees.
Treasury Operations and Compliance:
1. Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to treasury operations.
2. Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, bank accounts, and financial instruments.
3. Assist in preparing regulatory filings and compliance reports as needed.
Bank Relationship Management:
1. Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions to ensure efficient banking services.
2. Monitor bank fees and service charges, negotiate agreements, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
3. Stay updated on banking products and services to recommend enhancements.
Debt, Investment, and Foreign Exchange Risk Management:
1. Support the management of the company’s debt portfolio, including monitoring covenants, interest rates, and repayment schedules.
2. Evaluate short-term investment opportunities to optimize returns while managing risks.
3. Monitor foreign exchange markets and economic trends to anticipate financial impacts.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CTP) is a plus.
2. At least 5 years of experience in treasury and finance.
3. Strong analytical skills with expertise in financial analysis and modeling.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
5. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity.
6. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
7. Languages: Fluency in Spanish and Italian is required; English is a plus.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Treasury Management Systems (e.g., Kyriba).
