Would you like to be part of a team focused on increasing adoption of Amazon Web Services by engaging Independent Software Vendor accounts? Do you have the business savvy and the technical background necessary to help establish AWS as a key technology platform provider AND partner?
As a Sr ISV Account Manager you will have the exciting opportunity to help promote the growth and shape the future of an emerging technology. Your responsibility will be to increase the market penetration of AWS in the ISV accounts in Iberia and support their business growth with different programs. You will also have opportunity to use your creative and analytical skills to build new processes to gain scale.
The ideal location for the role is Madrid or Barcelona.
The ideal candidate will possess both an account management and technology background that enables them to drive an engagement at the executive level as well as with software engineers and IT architects. They should also be a self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit who is prepared to work in a fast-paced environment, develop and execute against a territory coverage plan and consistently deliver results.

Key job responsibilities
1. Help to drive business growth and expansion in a defined territory
2. Define your Territory Plan and execute against it, meet or exceed your quarterly targets
3. Manage numerous accounts concurrently & strategically
4. Articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services and Amazon
5. Accelerate customer adoption
6. Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption of the ISV business
7. Support the team leading cross-territory initiatives to increase our sales effectiveness and scale
8. Ensure customer satisfaction
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience required
2. Relevant experience of technology related sales, business development, or sales engineering/consulting experience in the IT industry, like in Cloud, SaaS, Analytics, Mobile or eCommerce
3. Cross functional selling experience (Architect, Sales Engineer, Professional Services, Partner, and ISVs)
4. Demonstrable achievement of targets paralleled with continuous advancement in career
5. Native level Spanish
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. A technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus
2. Direct field experience in working with ISVs
3. Profound insights into the Iberian ISV ecosystem, main market stakeholder and trends
4. Experience in identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology or technical services deals
5. AWS Cloud Practitioner/Solutions Architect Associate certification
