Location: Linares, Spain Department: Facility & Engineering Position type: Full-time About the RoleDesay SV is seeking a Facility Maintenance Engineer to join our growing team in Linares. This role will be crucial in ensuring the proper execution of facility construction, the implementation of energy equipment standards, and the long-term efficiency and reliability of the plant’s infrastructure.You will participate in the monitoring of project execution, conduct systematic inspections, and lead daily operations and preventive maintenance of energy systems such as power distribution, HVAC, water and gas supply. You will also support energy-saving projects and sustainability initiatives. Key Responsibilities Project Follow-upMonitor and coordinate construction progress in terms of quality, timeline, and safety.Develop and ensure the application of facility-related professional standards.Conduct systematic inspections and commissioning of new facilities or systems. Daily OperationsCreate, implement, and revise daily maintenance plans for energy-related equipment.Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions of system equipment.Manage the environment and upkeep of the workshop and facilities.Plan and oversee energy-saving technology upgrades, energy audits, and goal-setting initiatives.Provide support for energy-related auxiliary services across the plant. Requirements LanguagesFluent in English and Spanish (required).Chinese is a plus. Technical KnowledgeExpertise in energy-specific systems: power distribution, HVAC, water supply, gas supply, etc.Familiarity with construction management and post-construction maintenance of technical equipment.Experience in equipment upgrades, modifications, and problem-solving.Project management experience in technical environments.Proficiency in CAD, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and other office-related software.Familiarity with quality and analysis tools such as QCC, Six Sigma (6σ), root cause analysis, mind mapping, etc.Ability to organize and plan activities independently and cross-functionally.Strong technical writing skills for documentation and procedures.
