Johnson & Johnson is currently recruiting for a Senior Project Manager, Global Event Management to join our team in New Brunswick, NJ!
This position reports to the Director, Enterprise Events & Activations. The Sr. Project Manager is an enabler of successful global experiences – providing focused management and the ability to execute customized end-to-end novel solutions tailored to each meeting and event.
The Sr. Project Manager is a strategic advisor who brings forward creative, boundary-pushing ideas, knowledge of designed experiences, production/staging, and transforms them into dynamic, engaging outcomes.
Responsibilities:
1. Total project management for global virtual, in-person, and hybrid events.
2. Interact with senior level management and manage project budgets in excess of $2 million.
3. Manage approximately global CEO / Executive Committee level meetings/events per year ranging from 10 to people.
4. Understand multiple business segment needs and requirements (Innovative Medicine, MedTech, Corporate).
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (communications, marketing/brand, security).
6. Display strategic planning and meeting leadership skills.
7. Provide comprehensive scope and project objectives.
8. Establish clear roles and responsibilities for project team members.
9. Set, communicate, and drive timelines.
10. Lead onsite project management (live or virtual); motivate and support staff.
11. Manage production, live and virtual, exhibits, registration, rehearsals.
12. Complex budget management, recorded savings, reconciliation and coordination with Finance.
13. Risk management and strong negotiations skills.
14. Manage all project third party payments via internal credit card system; ensure invoicing dates and payment terms are met.
15. Ensure HCC compliance and security protocols.
16. Track and report on project key performance indicators and event metrics.
17. Manage registration, hospitality and logistics including VIP program management.
18. Vendor management (including DMC, hotel, and various vendors).
19. Conduct site inspections for offsite events and meetings.
20. Manage staffing, procurement, selection, and training.
21. Oversee food and beverage arrangements including menu development and guarantees.
22. Coordinate travel logistics including partnership with agencies and visa processing.
23. Production management and oversight of planning including RFPs for production and graphic design agencies.
24. Manage agency deadlines for presentations, scripts, and graphic design.
25. Work closely with in-house resources, TV studio & video production and J&J facilities.
26. Guide external vendors in the production of immersive hybrid experiences, exhibits, and spaces.
27. Manage event registration and websites.
Qualifications:
1. 10 years of Fortune 100 planning experience.
2. Proven experience in C-Suite, senior management, VIP event project management.
3. Global experience required.
4. BA/BS required.
