DEPARTMENT: Project Management (Site Management / Erection)
MISSION: The Site Manager is Nordex's representative on site accountable for executing Nordex Windfarms, fulfilling the HSE and Quality standards, and delivering the project's scope of work within budget and schedule. Is the main responsible on-site.
MY TASKS:
* Ensure that all project on-site activities comply with general Nordex QHSE regulations and specific QHSE regulations for construction sites.
* Manage the whole construction activities to meet deadlines, costs, quality, safety, and environmental requirements.
* Ensure the execution of contracts acquired with suppliers and customers.
* Manage the relationship with the customer at the site level in alignment with the PM.
* Contract and relationship management with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring they deliver their scope of work on-site.
* Coordinate his/her team on-site to deliver the scope of work.
* Manage the activities and tasks site-related during the execution readiness process.
* Report internally as defined in the Governance plan.
YOUR PROFILE:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline, or other degrees with extensive experience in the wind industry (5 to 7 years).
* Complementary Training in Internal IT systems and tools, such as SAP, BIC, Upvise, ServiceNow, Campus, NXTranslator, Windchill, Team Center, Webinar, Quentic, CEIS.
* Leadership abilities and becoming a role model.
* Ability to create and maintain good working relationships.
* Clear and strong communication skills (written and oral).
* Critical thinking and decision-making skills.
* Ownership and end-to-end thinking.
* Attention to detail.
* Teamwork abilities.
* High English level, at least B2.
* 3-5 years of experience in project management, demonstrating the ability to successfully complete large-scale projects while managing multidisciplinary teams.
* Availability to travel and be on-site for extended periods.
