Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/medtechPosition summary:Reporting to local Sales Manager the Premium IOL TM responsibility is to support strategic private customers and Key Accounts (KAs) in the developing and supporting commercial strategies to introduce, implement, and get the adoption of the J&J Premium IOL portfolio with the aim of achieving or overachieving sales and margin targets as well as KPIs.
The Premium IOL TM will be responsible for driving growth in Premium IOLs portfolio through strategic partnerships, market analysis, and new businesses, leveraging our unique portfolio of implants and equipment.
This role requires a deep technical understanding of the IOL market, excellent communication skills, strategical thinking and planning to drive growth in those strategic customers who will be selected in agreement with the Iberia commercial objectives.
Core Responsibilities:The Premium IOL TM responsibility is the management of the Johnson & Johnson Vision Premium IOL portfolio creating a strategic plan and supporting action plan in key selected customers, such as, key private and public clinics, KAs and Hospitality groups.
Define the influence and decision makers mapping to develop and implement tailored business development plans to achieve sales targets and expand market presence in key selected customers.
Present premium IOL portfolio and equipment to clients, addressing their specific needs.
Coordination with Sales Managers and support functions such as Professional Education or Clinical Services to establish and prioritize development plans in key private customers considering our range of value-added solutions as appropriate.
Track and report on action plan and sales performance. Provide regular updates to senior management on progress against targets and strategic initiatives.
Key duties and responsibilities:Develop and implement business plans targeting key accounts in collaboration with Sales Managers and cross-functional roles.
Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.
Expand market share and revenue for the anterior segment portfolio with major focus on Premium IOLs.
Support commercial efforts with other private accounts in his/her region.
Work closely with internal teams to align strategies and ensure product-market fit.
Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies as needed to meet targets.
Provide comprehensive reports on market conditions, sales performance, and strategic initiatives to senior management.
Education:A degree in Optometry or life sciences is required. A postgraduate in business would be an advantage.
Experience and Skills:Required:1 years' experience in Ophthalmology
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proven ability to develop and execute sales plans.
Strongly analytical knowledge of cataract and refractive market.
Fluent in English.
Ability to work cross-functionally.
Preferred:Minimum 1 year experience with cataract and IOLs devices.
Market Access experience would be an advantage.
Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Other:Willingness to travel 50 % of the time approximately.
