About the Role: Salesforce Solution Architect
We are looking for a Salesforce Solution Architect / IT Lead to drive the design, strategy, and governance of our Salesforce platform. This role is pivotal in ensuring that Salesforce is scalable, secure, and seamlessly integrated across Vitrolife’s global operations.
You will be part of our Global IT team, working closely with Enterprise Architecture, Commercial Excellence, Sales, Market Regions, and Global Shared Services. Reporting to the Enterprise Architect, you will set the technical direction for Salesforce solutions, ensuring they align with business goals and industry best practices.
*We follow a hybrid work model, which requires employees to come to the Valencia office on a regular basis.
Responsibilities
* Own the end-to-end Salesforce architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
* Define and govern technical standards, best practices, and solution design across all Salesforce projects.
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable, high-quality technical solutions.
* Lead and coordinate internal and external development teams through the full solution lifecycle, from design to implementation and support.
* Oversee Salesforce integrations with ERP, LIMS, and other core enterprise systems, ensuring data consistency and security.
* Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers and solution teams.
* Stay ahead of Salesforce platform evolution, recommending upgrades, new features, and process optimizations.
* Work alongside Commercial Excellence to plan and execute Salesforce projects on time and within budget.
What You Need to Succeed
Must-Have Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience as a Salesforce Solution Architect, IT Lead, or Senior Salesforce Consultant.
* Deep expertise in Salesforce Core (Sales & Service Cloud), and experience with Revenue Cloud, CPQ, or Experience Cloud is a plus.
* Strong technical foundation in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, Flows, and Salesforce APIs.
* Expertise in Salesforce integrations (e.g., REST/SOAP APIs, middleware platforms like Mulesoft).
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business perspectives.
* At least one Salesforce Architect-level certification (e.g., Application Architect, System Architect, or CTA).
* Experience leading technical teams and working in cross-functional environments.
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Nice-to-Have Skills & Experience:
* Experience working in a regulated environment (e.g., Life Sciences, MedTech, Pharma).
* Understanding of future ERP and LIMS integrations.
* Exposure to AI and automation capabilities in Salesforce (Einstein, Flow Orchestration, etc.).
Location & Travel
* This is a full-time, permanent position based in Valencia (Spain).
* Some international travel is required.
