JOB DESCRIPTION:
In this role, you will be part of a team of around 9 dedicated professionals - ranging from graphic designers, project managers, developers and copywriters - to create outstanding and engaging content for a broad range of different audiences and internal client stakeholders
As a Graphic Designer and a coder for the Artwork Tool of a leading international hotel group, you will design, edit and adapt brand, materials for all departments and hotels. From designing the templates to coding them into the artwork tool, you have to be able to think independently and effectively in order to create all relevant collaterals.In this facility, you will be able to manage multiple projects at once, take ownership of your work and deliver end results that surpass the initial brief.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Understand and employ the specific brand identity and graphic guidelines for each of the hotel group’s brands, creating materials that resonate with each brand and its distinct target audiences
* Designing new and updating current artworks, layouts and documents following corporate branding guidelines
* Creating new or updating existing brand collaterals, potentially including concept development
* Designing and producing marketing collaterals and promotional materials for a wide range of internal departments and for all hotel brands
* Following best practices with the Hotel Group’s Brand & Guest Experience team
* Present the design proposals to the rest of the creative team and customers/stakeholders
* Design graphics that convey the right message and relevant product for the different hotel group brands
* Manage complex information and turn it into easy-to-understand designs for a wide range of different stakeholders and target audiences
NECESSARY SKILLS:
* Above all, BE A TEAM PLAYER! Your main objective will be to help your teammates at all times achieve the agency's overall goals.
* You will be able to evidence sound experience and use of Adobe Creative Suite - InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
* English speaker with unparalleled communication skills both written and verbal
* Strong attention to detail and “connecting the dots” to ensure an effective template coding and high-end design
* A degree-level professional qualification relevant to graphic design and production
* At least 2 years of experience with graphic design
* Knowledge about web-to-print tools and understanding the basic principles
* Interest in “coding” and ability to mark up a template for system usage
* Database knowledge and experience
* Understanding of print- and graphic production processes
* Solid knowledge of colour definitions and usage (essential skill)
* Ability to generate, check and deliver output files for graphic production
* Curious and inquisitive
* Problem solver
* Technical mindset and interest
* Ability to work independently in a structured way and make the necessary decisions
* User Interface (UI) (HTML, CSS etc) highly recommended
* Java script experience highly recommended
* Eye for detail and design that sets you apart from your peers
* Comfortable working under pressure and have the ability both to take direction and work under your own initiative
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to self-supervise in order to meet deadlines
* Attention to detail, flexibility and a professional approach at all times
