As appropriate, these may involve participation in the tasks of Business Unit, Medical-marketing teams, Global and regional teams or other related working groups concerning products under his/her responsibility acting as the scientific liaison between international and local market needs.Key Responsibilities:Leads the medical strategy regarding compounds/products under his/her responsibility, both under development and on the market, as well as in medical & scientific matters regarding marketed products under his/her responsibility. This includes providing sound medical and scientific advice to the Commercial organization, ensuring adequate medical governance and risk management of all promotional and communication activities.Full understanding of the Local strategic needs of the Therapy Area and the products under his/her responsibility.Support the performance of clinical trials under GSK quality standards (SOPs), providing with medical input to those aspects of clinical trials and other studies as required by Clinical Operations Department.Conduct peer to peer robust scientific dialogue with external experts, selected according to their relevant experience and uses this to generate insights and secure advice that informs GSK development of medicines of value, for the ultimate benefit of patients, and interacts with Scientific Societies. Answer to external queries that cannot be resolved by the Medical Information Service.Support to Market Access, review and approval of promotional materials, press releases, and sales reps training (disease area, product) materials and permanent scientific update on his/her medical area to identify new unmet medical needs and business opportunities.Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor's degree with equivalent in Pharmaceutical Industry Experience.Solid experience on the therapeutic area.Knows the disease, its prognosis and its impact on patients’ lives from first presentation through typical treatment pathways.Anticipates the information needs of payers, regulators and prescribers throughout the life-cycle of the product(s).Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English and SpanishPreferred Qualifications:If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:Flexible and proactive working attitude.Effective team member with good interpersonal skills.Attention to detail.End date: 28/02/2025#LI-HybridWhy GSK?
