This is the right opportunity for you! We are looking for an experienced Electrical/Electronic HW Design Engineer to join our R&D team in Seville, Spain.
You will participate in the development of RTU (Remote Terminal Units) specifically in the T300 platform.
You will join a dynamic and agile team, where we work passionately with product development and maintenance/sustaining end-to-end activities.
Responsibilities
1. Lead and facilitate the resolution of electrical and electronics component issues during the development or product life cycle phases.
2. Perform specification, qualification, including laboratory preparation, testing, and reporting.
3. Build engineering hardware prototypes.
4. Review and ensure the quality of electronics hardware design.
5. Liaise with internal factory assembly engineers to optimize the layout for manufacturing, cost, quality, and efficiency.
6. Provide support for the hardware and manage component (both electrical and electronics) obsolescence throughout the lifecycle.
7. Perform engineering tests and troubleshooting.
8. Lead or actively participate in design reviews, ensure hardware design compliance with standards, and write design specifications.
9. Perform hardware simulations and modeling.
10. Specify and qualify new or alternative electrical components (fuses, switches, overvoltage protective devices, power cables) or electronics components (capacitors, resistors, semiconductors, integrated circuits).
11. Investigate and propose solutions for field quality issues with a focus on electronics for existing offers.
12. Interface with firmware, mechanical, and industrialization teams.
13. Create engineering documentation: Bill of materials, schematic, drawings, design documents, supporting calculations, and deliverables.
14. Contribute to new and innovative ideas to rapidly evolving business development activities.
15. Support or actively participate in FMEA, FTA, and product mission profile creation.
16. Monitor and report on the progress of development during Scrum daily meetings and participate in Agile ceremonies.
Qualifications
First, you should have good and thorough experience in product development, preferably also in Agile methodology.
You have a bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, and you are fluent in English.
You must have experience in:
1. Electrical and analog electronics design.
2. Schematic Capture, Cadence Suite, HDL, Allegro Simulations PSPIC, LTSPICE.
3. Power electronics design, particularly in relation to high-frequency power supply and its components (inductors, high-frequency transformers, etc.).
