Company Description: MBS is a DMC located in Mallorca and working in the Balearic islands, specialized in incentives and corporate groups, Congresses, and high-end private events.
Role Description: This is a Full-Time, 8 months/year, on-site role for an Assistant Event Coordinator located in Palma. The Assistant Event Coordinator will assist in organizing and coordinating events, providing logistical and administrative support to the event team, communicating with clients and vendors, and ensuring that events run smoothly.
Qualifications:
1. High level of German and English is IMPERATIVE. Please do not contact if you are not fluent in both languages.
2. Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with team members, clients, and vendors.
4. Demonstrated attention to detail, with a customer-service orientation and problem-solving skills.
5. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays, as required by the scheduled events.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
7. A bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
8. Prior experience in event coordination, including logistics, vendor management, contract negotiation, and budget management is a plus.
