Reports to: Manager of Revenue Optimization
Roles/Responsibilities
* Perform all commission collection tasks, including outreach to hotels to validate contact information, ensure commission values are approved within the tool, and monitor outstanding balances.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with hotel partners to facilitate smooth commission collection processes.
* Handle manual tasks related to Revenue Optimization on respective tools and deliver according to set timelines/KPIs.
* Improve the quality of the database.
* Identify application system issues and open tickets to the appropriate stakeholders.
* Liaise with internal departments to resolve service problems and proactively identify possibilities for automation and efficiencies.
* Alert and escalate irregularities in any area of production.
* Proactively identify activities to improve performance of clients.
* Provide quality deliverables and accurate status reports for management review.
Qualifications
* One (1) year of payment collection experience.
* One (1) year of corporate Meetings & Events experience.
* Fluent spoken and written communication in English.
* Excellent telephone/call skills.
* Proficiency in Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
* Advanced use of Salesforce.
* Good understanding of the hospitality industry.
* International experience.
* Knowledge of another language is highly valued.
Teamwork/Leadership/Interpersonal Skills
* Comfortable working with a team but able to work with little supervision.
* Able to work in a changing environment with strict goals.
* Understanding of systems process flows, data flow, file specifications, and ability to troubleshoot.
* Enjoys constant contact with customers and hotel partners.
