We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven digital business development manager to join our team. As a business development manager, you will be responsible for selling Baxter's innovative digital health solution ICNET to hospitals, healthcare organisations and other relevant stakeholders. Your primary goal will be to drive revenue growth by generating new leads, building strong customer relationships, and closing sales deals. You will play a crucial role in promoting our digital health products and services, contributing to the advancement of healthcare technology.
The business development manager is responsible for the delivery of an annual regional sales target, they are responsible for the profitable delivery and management of a robust pipeline. They are the experts in Networking with key opinion leaders and writing business cases for hospitals. This role is a very diverse role and will need an individual who has the skills to work with the wider team across ICNet to ensure that we sustain and grow a robust business moving forward.
The ideal candidate for this role is someone who shows enthusiasm, hungry for success, ambitious, has a positive "can do" attitude and sales knowledge which will aid you in developing contacts and guide them along the sales journey.
What you'll be doing:
* Direct sales of Baxter's Digital solution ICNET
* Deliver annual sales revenue target for your territory
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities through pro-active lead generation
* Build a strong pipeline of qualified leads and convert them into sales opportunities
* Manage end to end sales process from prospect through to contracting
* Working to ensure product awareness to appropriate stakeholders through various routes, conferences, digital marketing, direct messaging etc.
* Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients by understanding customer needs, objectives, and challenges, and provide appropriate solutions
* Conduct product presentations and demonstrations tailored to meet client requirements
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth customer onboarding and implementation
* Prepare and execute an annual territory business plan, using available analytical tools, to derive maximum sales and market penetration. Plan may include focus products, goals, regional activities, barriers etc
* Develop and maintain complete understanding of Baxter's digital solutions - features, functionality, pricing and all other attributes
* Stay engaged with peer(s) to understand and exploit new and existing business in territory; follows-up on opportunities identified by peer, and informs peer of same (strives for a "win-win" for all parties)
* Complete administrative aspects of role (pipeline management, expense reporting, response to Email/voice mail, etc.) on a thorough and timely basis; adheres to company policy on pricing, free goods, phone use, etc.
What you'll bring:
* At least 5 years digital sales experience with proven results
* Good knowledge of Healthcare IT and experience selling into this arena is preferred
* Experience in identifying the buying and decision-making process, successfully bringing the sales cycle to a close in both analog and digital setting.
* Prospecting, relationship building, negotiation and closing skills. Passion for exploring, locating and proposing new business deals and commercial models. Identifies barriers to change and addresses these appropriately.
* Ability to easily switch between keeping a holistic overview of market dynamics and detailed troubleshooting when required.
* Ability to manage long sales cycles and multiple opportunities.
* Good knowledge of country healthcare structures, national healthcare politics, and hospital financing.
* Ability to negotiate at c-suite levels.
* Self-management and organizational skills
* A great communicator with customer orientation and strong interpersonal skills
* Team player willing to push outside of comfort zone
