Shimano is looking for a Customer Service to join our team. In this role you would be in daily contact with the retailers and your Sales Representatives colleagues: booking orders, providing information regarding product availability, pricing, and delivery, and suggesting alternative products. Helping retailers gives you a lot of energy. Do you like variety (no day is the same), are you able to perform under pressure, and are you accurate? Then we would like to know more about you!
The Challenge
* Provide customers and colleagues with pricing, product, availability, order, and delivery information.
* Suggest alternative or additional products to customers to best match their needs or through company initiatives.
* Be a link between customer & sales teams to maximize responsiveness, share key information and support sales goals.
* Track the status of customer orders and alert responsible person should there be a deviation from plans or a bottleneck.
* Check credit within established limitations to confirm customer orders.
* Answer technical questions and resolve technical difficulties for the customer, escalating where necessary.
* Receive and process customer orders, inquiries, or complaints as the first line of support then escalating where necessary.
* Coordinate and maintain proper administration of order information in the relevant systems to ensure up-to-date information, simple tracking, early detection of potential issues, and to enable forecasting.
What are we looking for?
* Experience in a similar role (Customer Service) for at least 2-3 years.
* Good communication skills in Spanish & English (both verbal and written).
* Excellent communication skills to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Proactive and self-starter attitude.
* Passion for cycling and knowledge of its products is a plus.
This position comes with a fixed term period of 3 months with the possibility to extend for 3 more months!
