Responsibilities:
1. Based in the local country or region market, you will serve as a key member of the technical support team in helping to launch new devices.
2. Lead communication with carriers and distributors for their requirements and schedule.
3. Work closely with R&D and TAMs in headquarters to ensure products get Technical Approval for selling.
4. Execute self-testing for each software release before delivery to customers.
5. Be responsible for projects testing and new technology testing like 5G NSA, SA, VoNR, mmWave, etc.
6. Analyze logs, submit defects in JIRA system, and work with R&D team (such as BSP, Telephony, Radio, protocol) and other cross-functional teams on identifying and verifying issues.
7. Organize and lead the technical workshop communication for carriers to acquire new technology and evolution direction of carriers' networks.
8. Competitive information acquisition.
Requirements:
1. B. S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Telecommunication Engineering. M. S. preferred.
2. Familiar with the carrier technical acceptance process and good relationship with local carriers.
3. At least 3 years of relevant work experience; able to work independently and proactively.
4. Knowledge of IMS (VoLTE, VoWiFi) and new wireless technology like 5G NSA, SA, VoNR, mmWave.
5. Good RF & OTA fundamentals knowledge and understanding along with practical experience is a plus.
6. Experience with Qualcomm/MTK tools (QXDM, QPST, ELT).
7. Good English and Spanish spoken and written communication required; Mandarin language skill is a plus.
