Job Summary
The Product Manager defines and implements strategies addressed to market requirements for the product menu. Performs product management and prepares a marketing support program for a dedicated product line. Provides marketing assistance to field personnel and customers. Leverages scientific expertise to ensure the achievement of the objectives set for the Business Line and collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape tactics, navigate regulatory landscapes, and drive product success.
Key Accountabilities
- Prepare the launch of new products:
market research, positioning, competition, publications, and value proposition.
- Stay updated on the market needs and the competitor’s analysis.
- Provide the commercial network with the necessary arguments to counter objections from competitors and customers based on the value-selling method adequately.
- Prepare the necessary marketing material:
brochures, catalogs, and presentations, digital campaigns, etc.
- Prepare product information necessary for each case, such as product registrations, technical data sheets, safety files, inserts, and anything else mandatory.
- Prepare and participate in Workshops, Congresses, Scientific Sessions, and other events.
- Encourage the evaluation of products to generate scientific articles.
- Participate in the preparation of the tenders, writing the technical part. In collaboration with the Sales Application Specialist and tenders department.
- Keep all the data in the computer system (SAP) up to date to guarantee the reliability of the zGP,
- Keep Teams database updated, as well as the Company's website.
- Acts as key marketing technical liaison on all given product lines, providing product and regulatory information to sales, service and customers.
- Contact with Suppliers regarding product issues, incidences and updates.
- Work with Logistics to manage all types of product incidents:
back orders, stock dimension, purchase equipment forecast, among others.
- Maintains regular communications with technical services on problems with instruments, software and reagents within the product line.
- Maintain a fluid relationship with the different KOLs and support the commercial network in the visits that require it.
- Provides presentations to customers.
- Train the different members of the commercial network (Area Managers, Key Account Managers, and Sales Application Specialists).
- Manages and drives internal projects with minimal supervision.
- Ensures compliance with Werfen Code of Ethics.

Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position
- Education
oBachelor´s or Master’s Degree in Life Sciences or Medicine is desirable
oHematology discipline knowledge is highly valuable
oAdditional degree in business administration, marketing, or equivalent preferred
- Experience
oMinimum three years’ experience either in the IVD industry in a similar position or a Medical or Technical role at a Hospital IVD Laboratory is highly desirable, preferable in the Hemotalogy Laboratory.
