Driven by You.About YouAs the Demand Planner for Iberia and DACH Region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland), you will translate consumer/sales demand, promotions, product introduction/delisting and rollover plans into an agreed forecast of market requirements on an ongoing 24 month rolling basis. You will also include the short-term management and coordination of the execution of plans, communication of changes, issues and shortages, avoidance of obsolete products and stock run outs. Furthermore, this role will support Cost Transformation and inventory optimization, as well as continuous improvements on Demand Planning systems, meetings and processes. On top of that, in this role you will sometimes support UK for Supply Planning and you will have the chance to work closely with the Country Leadership Team, Sales, Finance, Customer Order Management, European Supply Chain Services and Logistics.You will report to the Demand Planning Leader Western Central Europe and will be an individual contributor (no direct reports).Location:we can offer a remote model for candidates already based in Spain, ideally in Madrid Area, as there will be regular visits to the Madrid Office.YOUR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:Lead and continuously drive improvements in process and outputs of demand forecast (like Forecast Reconciliation and MBO sign off release process)Develop and maintain a monthly demand schedule by maintaining a 18 month rolling forecast at invoice SKU + location levelEnsure an accurate up to date view of market demand by maintaining a robust rolling forecast at the agreed level and time horizons required for planning and commercial decision makingEnsure the utilization of statistical demand planning system capabilities and drive system usage improvementsManage the monthly MBO sign off/Demand Review forecast release processDrive improvements in forecast accuracy and biasManage forecast locations splits, roll-overs and allocation rules to optimize service and reduce obsolescence/slow movers and cost exposure as well as DIO targetsUnderstand and communicate supply chain impacts and solutions (when appropriate) of category-specific business plans as well as recommendation of SKU optimizationWork closely with Supply Chain and S&OP colleagues in support of tactical execution which meets business objectivesProvide forecast insights and recommendations for quarterly financial & budget process, plus 4 year business plans, and category specific projects, innovation and strategiesEffectively utilize independent analysis of available data streams and information (category sales history, past promotional/event history, customer sales & inventory data, customer collaboration & insights etc) in order to drive forecast improvementsSupport implementation of demand management best practices/strategies across EM WCE organizationWHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:Bachelors Degree (BA, BSc) or equivalent is desirable; Previous experience in forecasting or Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) environment or with a proven track record in Supply Chain; First class analytical skills including data manipulation; Experience within supplychain forecasting and EPOS tracking or similar; Experience of SAP ECC, APO, Prevail 10, MS EXCEL, BW or similar systems desirable; Self-motivated, flexibleand independent; able to deal with ambiguityExcellent collaboration, communication and influencing skillsFluent in English & SpanishWe OfferHere are just a few of the benefits you’d enjoy working in this role for Kimberly-Clark.
