Position Overview: This position is responsible for the management of a portfolio of key sellers in the fashion and sports industry composed of the main retailers and distributors in the market already on the platform. Responsibilities include:
1. GMV growth and negotiation at the C-level of the strategic plan.
2. Definition and execution of growth strategy.
3. Business development to convince relevant retailers and distributors to cooperate with Alibaba in a win-win relationship.
4. Ownership of sales performance for a set of sellers.
5. Negotiation with key sellers and promotion of relevant local selection.
6. Prioritization of seller growth based on market opportunity, product mix, and price advantage.
7. Analysis of user demand for commodities and formulation of the annual product promotion rhythm.
8. Maintenance of good relationships with key accounts in the portfolio.
9. Providing guidance to key sellers within Alibaba platform operations.
10. Negotiation of product and price based on market demand.
11. Understanding of new business opportunities and implementation with sellers.
12. Data handling and application to solve problems.
13. High-level understanding of main integration methods between seller ERP systems and marketplace.
14. Comprehensive analysis based on multi-dimensional data systems to deliver KPIs.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Full-time undergraduate degree or above.
2. 7+ years as category manager in a marketplace or distributor/retailer/brand as head of marketplace operations.
3. Experience in seller operation and platform operation.
4. Familiarity with distributors, retailers, brands, and e-commerce platform operations.
5. Fluent in English and Spanish.
6. Horizontal projects leadership capability.
7. Good communication skills and teamwork spirit.
8. Strong ability in data processing and analysis, Excel proficiency.
