We are currently looking for a Transfer Pricing Specialist to join our remote team based in South Africa, supporting a Europe-based company that is expanding by leveraging South African talent. About the Role
As a Transfer Pricing Specialist, you will play a key role in designing and implementing transfer pricing strategies for multinational corporations. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with transfer pricing regulations across different jurisdictions, preparing transfer pricing documentation, and assisting clients with global tax strategies. This position provides you with the opportunity to work with top-tier international clients and enhance your technical skills while enjoying the flexibility of remote work. Occasional travel may be required for client meetings and team engagements.

Key Responsibilities
1.Transfer Pricing Documentation & Compliance
* Prepare and review transfer pricing documentation for clients, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
* Develop and implement transfer pricing policies and strategies tailored to client needs and business structures.
2.Analysis & Benchmarking
* Conduct economic and financial analysis, including benchmarking studies, to support transfer pricing reports and defend pricing strategies.
* Analyze intercompany transactions to assess compliance with arm’s length principles.
3.Cross-Border Advisory
* Advise multinational clients on complex cross-border tax planning, transfer pricing structuring, and risk mitigation strategies.
* Provide insights into managing transfer pricing audits and disputes with tax authorities.
4.Regulatory & Legal Updates
* Stay up-to-date with changes in transfer pricing laws, regulations across various jurisdictions.
* Provide clients with strategic advice on navigating regulatory challenges.
5.Client Relationships
* Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients, providing expert guidance on transfer pricing matters and fostering long-term partnerships.
6.Collaborative Teamwork
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including tax, legal, and finance departments, to align transfer pricing strategies with broader business goals.
* Mentor and support junior staff, offering guidance and feedback to help them grow professionally.
7.Reporting & Documentation
* Draft high-quality transfer pricing reports and presentations for clients and regulators, clearly communicating complex technical concepts.
Qualifications & Experience
Required Skills & Experience
* 4-7 years of experience in transfer pricing or international tax, with a focus on compliance, planning, and documentation.
* Experience working with clients in multiple jurisdictions.
* In-depth knowledge of transfer pricing regulations, and local tax laws.
* Proven ability to manage complex transfer pricing projects and provide actionable solutions to clients.
* A relevant qualification such as a CA(SA), or Master’s in Taxation or Finance.

* Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to assess and interpret complex financial data.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present technical information to diverse audiences.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote setting.
* Familiarity with transfer pricing software and databases is a plus.
* Experience working in a global team environment with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
