Location : Spain (Madrid or Asturias)
Scope :
We are looking for a skilled KEY ACCOUNT & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER to oversee the company relationships with its most important clients, as well as identify new business opportunities to generate revenue, improve profitability and help the business growth on EMEA region for firefighting industry solutions and services. This position will be in charge of some southern European countries.
Responsibilities :
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs, ensuring their satisfaction with products or services to ensure they do not turn to competition.
* Acting as the primary point of contact for key clients, addressing their inquiries, resolving issues, and proactively identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
* Identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts and strategizing to expand the company's footprint in the market.
* Analyzing competitor activities and market dynamics, adjusting account strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive advantage.
* Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts for internal stakeholders using key account metrics.
* Collaborating with internal teams, such as sales, marketing, and customer support, to deliver exceptional services.
Qualifications :
* Bachelor’s degree or similar in Sales / Business Administration / Engineering is required; Master and / or advanced degree is an extra value.
* Native languages Spanish and French are compulsory as will be handling both markets. Professional Fluency in English is desirable (all three would be a strong asset).
* 5 or more years’ experience working in B2B business.
* Experience working with the public administration or governmental agencies as well as global private companies.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels.
* Along 25-50%+ travel inside and outside of the country of residence would be required.
