About the Role
The Digital Marketing Specialist plays a key role in executing and optimizing digital marketing strategies that drive measurable results for clients. This position focuses on implementing campaigns across multiple platforms, including search engines, social media, email, and display advertising. The Digital Marketing Specialist will work closely with internal teams to align strategies with client goals and ensure campaigns are delivered on time and within budget.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. 2–4 years of experience in digital marketing, including managing paid search, social, and display campaigns. Strong knowledge of Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, and other digital advertising platforms. Familiarity with other self-service platforms such as TikTok Ads, LinkedIn ads, OTT ads, Reddit ads is a plus. Experience working in marketing for higher ed is a plus.
Responsibilities
Plan and execute various campaign strategies tailored to client business goals, including identifying optimal platforms and campaign types to maximize results.
Manage and optimize digital marketing campaigns across platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads, email marketing, etc.)
Monitor campaign performance, making data-driven adjustments to improve results and achieve client KPIs.
Analyze and report on the effectiveness of digital marketing efforts using tools like Google Analytics and Looker Studio.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, content, and account managers, to deliver cohesive marketing strategies.
Communicate with clients to understand their business objectives and provide updates on campaign performance.
Provide recommendations for improving campaign effectiveness based on current trends and data analysis.
Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends and technologies, ensuring best practices are followed.
Identify new growth opportunities for clients through innovative tactics, platforms, and channels.
Continuously test and optimize creative, targeting, and bidding strategies to maximize return on investment.
Contribute to internal discussions on improving agency processes and tools.
Support other team members by sharing knowledge and best practices.
Complete additional tasks as assigned to ensure the success of campaigns and the agency.
Qualifications
Proficiency in digital marketing tools, including Google Analytics, SEMrush, Looker Studio, and Tag Manager. Proficiency with SEO, email marketing, and content marketing. Proficiency with Hubspot, including contact management, marketing automation, and CRM integration. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights to clients. Strong analytical skills with a passion for optimizing performance. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with WordPress/Elementor and Shopify is a plus.
