Job description :
i. Permitting of BESS and PV projects: Deep involved in the application and handling of project permits, licenses and/or governmental authorizations, providing legal support and coordinating internal and external resources to promote the process of obtaining permits, licenses and/or governmental authorizations.
ii. Access and connection to the grid guarantees
iii. Review, draft and negotiate contracts: Monitor the performance of material contracts, including Land agreements, Supply agreements, EPC and BOS, Power purchase agreements (PPAs).
iv. M&A
v. Corporate issues
vi. Litigation and arbitration cases.
Skills Required for the Position
1. Professional experience: Experience in participating in the whole process of new energy projects (photovoltaic, wind power, energy storage), especially in terms of development documents and license acquisition. Or have led the legal due diligence of new energy projects, and are familiar with the whole development process and every development link of photovoltaic/wind power/energy storage projects, including land acquisition and storage, investment/development permits, grid-connected access applications, design and feasibility studies, environmental impact assessments, construction permits, commercial operation certificates, power generation permits, etc.
2. Minimum of 7 years of experience as renewable energy lawyer in Spain, in a law firm or energy company.
3. Good communication and coordination skills, analytical and judgment skills.
4. Proficient in English.
