Job Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent (required). Additional certifications in Traffic Control or Traffic Management are preferred (e.g., TCP, Book7).
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in traffic control, construction site management, or a related field.
* Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract.
* Strong understanding of site plans, traffic control devices, construction safety protocols, and relevant traffic laws/regulations.
* Proficient in using traffic management software and tools (optional but preferred).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Working knowledge using CAD software.
* Ability to work in varying weather conditions and outdoor environments; ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
* Knowledge of local traffic regulations and experience working with municipal traffic authorities is highly desirable.
* Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
* Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
* Sound planning, prioritization, and execution skills with the ability to assess the needs of the business and implement the best solutions.
* Solid command of the English language: reading, verbal, and written will be required to gather and impart information, act as a point of contact to suppliers.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to take on new challenges.
* Ability to identify key issues and creatively/strategically overcome internal challenges or obstacles.

Work Conditions
* Some travel within the GTA may be required.
* Able to physically inspect company property and assets.
* Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. unassisted.
* May be required to wear PPE (Hard hat, safety shoes, safety glasses).
* Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
* Overtime as required.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the COO, the Traffic Control Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and implementation of traffic management plans for construction sites to ensure the safe and efficient movement of vehicles and pedestrians around these work zones. This position requires an in-depth understanding of traffic regulations, construction site safety protocols, and effective traffic control measures to minimize disruptions and ensure compliance with legal and safety requirements.
The Traffic Control Manager will work closely with site teams, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and safe traffic flow, public safety, and the timely completion of construction projects.
