Job Summary
The Technical Support Manager will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that effectively communicate the technical advantages and benefits of our BESS solutions to the C&I and grid-scale markets. This role requires a deep understanding of energy storage technologies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling marketing materials. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the sales, product development, and engineering teams to ensure alignment between marketing initiatives and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans and campaigns tailored to the C&I and grid-scale storage markets.
* Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies.
* Create high-quality technical marketing content, including white papers, case studies, technical datasheets, product brochures, and presentations.
* Ensure all marketing materials accurately reflect the technical capabilities and benefits of our BESS solutions.
* Coordinate product launches, including developing launch plans, creating promotional materials, and executing launch events.
* Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement promotional campaigns to drive product adoption.
* Provide technical training and support to customers and the sales team to enhance their understanding of our BESS solutions.
* Develop and maintain a library of sales tools, including technical FAQs, competitive analysis, and objection handling guides.
* Engage with customers and partners to gather feedback on our products and understand their technical requirements.
* Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and webinars, delivering technical presentations and demos.
* Provide support and assist customer in after-sales processes.
* Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including website content, social media, email campaigns, and online advertising.
* Utilize analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and make data-driven decisions.
* Work closely with the product development and engineering teams to stay informed about product updates and innovations.
* Coordinate with external agencies, designers, and content creators to produce high-quality marketing materials.
Qualifications
* Hold a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
* Have 5+ years of experience in technical marketing, product marketing, or a related role within the energy sector, with a focus on BESS, renewable energy, or related technologies and a proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns and product launches.
* Possess a strong technical understanding of BESS technologies and the C&I and grid-scale storage markets.
* Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling technical content.
* Be proficient in (digital) marketing tools and platforms, including content management systems, social media, and analytics tools.
* Have strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
* Be able to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
* Be fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
* Show willingness to travel as needed to support customers, marketing initiatives and attend industry events.
