As Chief Financial Officer, you will be integral to our financial management, focusing on Spanish accounting flows, while also interacting with our teams in Romania and the USA. This role reports directly to the CEO and is crucial for strategic financial planning and operations. Your expertise will not only shape our financial strategies but also support our growth and expansion initiatives.
Responsibilities
1. Oversee and manage financial operations, particularly focusing on workflows related to our operations in Spain.
2. Liaise with our legal teams across multiple jurisdictions to prepare essential documents, including transfer pricing agreements.
3. Collaborate closely with other C-level executives to refine and implement the company’s financial strategies.
4. Develop comprehensive financial models and forecasts to inform decision-making and support business strategies.
5. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards in Spain, maintaining robust financial reporting systems.
6. Manage financial risks by analyzing and forecasting financial trends.
7. Oversee the company’s yearly financial audit.
8. Lay the foundation for a potential sale early 2025.
Qualifications
1. 10+ years of experience in financial management, with extensive expertise in Spanish corporate finance.
2. Proven track record of managing financial operations that span multiple countries and jurisdictions.
3. Strong understanding of the gaming industry’s financial metrics and market dynamics.
4. Exceptional leadership skills with experience in senior financial roles.
5. Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively negotiating and building relationships with stakeholders, including external partners and legal bodies.
6. Professional fluency in English and Spanish.
7. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
