Wall Street English is looking for a confident, self-starter Community Management Intern to join our Marketing team in Barcelona office.
The successful intern will be a key player in executing tasks across diverse social media platforms, strategically enhancing Wall Street English's global presence on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube, while concurrently managing and amplifying our footprint on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube in other countries where we are expanding.
What You Will Be Doing
Reporting to our Social Media Marketing Manager, this role calls for a detail-oriented approach, social media-savvy, and a commitment to cultivating an engaged online community. An overview of the collaboration, responsibilities, and opportunities for learning is below:
Content Creation and Curation
* Content Planning: Contribute to the development of an organic social media calendar.
* Posting Content: Assist in the posting of content on Wall Street English channels.
* Generate Content Ideas: Collaborate with the Design team to brainstorm relevant and valuable content, including posts, articles, videos, etc., to keep the community engaged.
* Curate Content: Identify and share user-generated content that aligns with the community's interests.
Engagement and Interaction
* Moderation: Monitor and moderate discussions, comments, and interactions within the community to ensure adherence to community guidelines and respectful communication.
* Responding: Engage with community members by assisting in answering questions, providing support, and addressing concerns.
Feedback and Reporting
* Gather Feedback: Assist in collecting feedback from community members about their experiences and preferences.
* Reporting and Analysis: Learn to utilize analytics tools to track community metrics and contribute to regular performance reports for stakeholders.
Conflict Resolution
* Mediation: Observe and learn how to address conflicts and disagreements within the community, with guidance towards finding amicable solutions.
* Crisis Management: Learn to assist in handling sensitive situations or crises that may arise within the community
Your Profile
* Currently a student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
* Able to sign an internship agreement with your School/University.
* Available for a minimum 6-month internship.
* Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube platforms.
* Basic understanding of analyzing social media metrics.
* Possesses an excellent and confident command of the English language.
* Demonstrates attention to detail and a creative flair.
* Displays a willingness to learn crisis management skills and address conflicts diplomatically.
* A team player ready to contribute to a multicultural team.
Nice to have
* Video skills around creation and editing for social media
* Some experience with a social media management tool, e.g. Hootsuite, HubSpot..
* Some exposure or coursework in social media management
Internship Schedule Arrangement
Hybrid (2 days in office/3 days work from home). The office is in the city center of Barcelona.
