Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Front Office Agent / Night Auditor to join our team at DoubleTree by Hilton Madrid Prado. This role is pivotal in ensuring that guests experience a warm welcome and exceptional service throughout their stay. You will be responsible for managing front desk operations, including check-ins, check-outs, room assignments, billing, and night audit functions, all while promoting a positive and professional work environment.
Required Profile
* Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a similar role
* Education: Diploma or equivalent
* Languages: Spanish (native/bilingual) English (professional usage, C1 level)
* Competencies: Teamwork orientation, Customer and results-focused approach, Strong analytical skills, Dynamic personality, Excellent communication skills
Key Responsibilities
* Guest Service Excellence: Greet and guide guests with a friendly and proactive approach, ensuring a positive experience throughout their stay. Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized assistance.
* Front Desk Operations: Manage room assignments, check-ins, check-outs, and telephone inquiries efficiently. Handle billing, collections, cash management, and reservations accurately.
* Night Audit & Shift Management: Work night shifts as required, performing night audits and executing end-of-day closures. Ensure all procedures are correctly followed during the night shift.
* Loyalty and Sales Initiatives: Promote and apply the hotel’s loyalty program to enhance guest engagement. Identify business opportunities by implementing same-day selling, upselling, and cross-selling strategies to maximize revenue and occupancy.
* Commercial Agreements & Channel Management: Ensure the correct application of commercial agreements, promotions, billing processes, and credit policies. Monitor room availability across distribution channels and adjust rates accordingly.
* Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with various hotel departments to maintain a seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction. Foster a professional, positive, and high-quality work environment.
* Issue Resolution: Efficiently manage guest complaints or incidents, ensuring timely resolution and escalation to supervisors when necessary.
