Your mission will be...
* You will be part of the factory's management committee and will regularly report to Management on the implementation of environmental, safety, and health programs and action plans, and on the evolution of indicators.
* You will coordinate risk assessment programs, action plans, audits, training, and communication of improvement opportunities.
* You will validate the safety of equipment, operating procedures, and safety instructions. You will review new projects or products in terms of environmental, health, and safety aspects.
* You will review the effectiveness of the environmental, health, and safety management system and review the effective application of standards and communicate these aspects to the Factory Committee.
* You will maintain environmental, health, and safety communication with Administrations and other external stakeholders.
* You will report EHS incidents to the Plant Director, European EHS Director, and participate in incident investigations.
* You will share experiences and good practices in environmental, health, and safety matters with other factories in the Group.
* In addition, you will have operational responsibility for the management of fire-fighting equipment and alarm systems, emergency plans and equipment, waste management, and auxiliary facilities.
To be successful, you must have...
* A degree in industrial, chemical, mining, or related engineering.
* Master's Degree in Occupational Risk Prevention.
* Ability to speak and write in English and/or French.
* EHS experience in an industrial environment.
* At least 3 years of relevant experience for the position.
* Good communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
* Ability to propose innovative ideas.
* Ability to analyze and synthesize.
* Experience working in a multidisciplinary and diverse team.
* Results-oriented and proactive.
* Availability to travel.
