Currently we are looking for a Vessel Software Lead for our client from the Oil & Gas industry.
MISSION :
Coordinate and manage automation system on board the conventional and DP vessel, where experience and high level on automation knowledge is necessary.
Be responsible for the electronic correct operation / maintenance ensuring the respect of HSE company procedures.
TASKS :
Supervise and monitor, with full autonomy, all automation systems related to the pipe / flex lay equipment, pipe handling, lifting appliances, and the rest of the systems connected to the production side.
Monitor and control supervising on-board electrical / electronic equipment according to safety procedures.
Define maintenance work setting priorities and propose maintenance schedule.
Propose to the Chief Engineer and Chief Electrician the required quantity of material stock levels, in order to maintain work continuity.
Supervise the carrying out of work activities in compliance with safety procedures and practices.
Ensure the efficiency of the electrical / electronic equipment.
Coordinate the electrical team for ordinary and extraordinary maintenance.

REQUIREMENTS :
Deep knowledge of Rockwell and Siemens PLC, in programming and troubleshooting.
Minimum 5 years of experience in the contractual scope of activities.
Capability to follow and perform the commissioning on production machines for pipelay (vertical lay system equipment).
Knowledge of Siemens control system and Tia portal.
