Our client is seeking a driven and business growth-oriented Japanese Country Manager to lead our clients' expansion and operations in Japan. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Japanese market, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to drive product and service offerings while leading marketing efforts. As the Japanese Country Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the success of our clients' business in Japan through strategic planning, execution, and collaboration with global teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute a comprehensive market strategy to drive growth and brand awareness in Japan.
* Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to expand our market presence.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adapt strategies accordingly.
Product & Service Coordination
* Coordinate and optimize our product and service offerings to meet the specific needs of the Japanese market.
* Work closely with global product teams to ensure alignment with local market demands.
* Ensure that all products and services comply with Japanese regulations and standards.
Marketing Execution
* Lead and execute marketing campaigns tailored to the Japanese market.
* Collaborate with the global marketing team to maintain consistency in brand messaging while adapting to local preferences.
* Manage digital marketing, social media, and other promotional channels to maximize reach and engagement.
Business Growth & Operations
* Drive business growth through effective planning, execution, and performance management.
* Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and alignment with company goals.
* Manage budgets, resources, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational success.
Client & Stakeholder Management
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
* Act as the primary point of contact for all business activities in Japan.
* Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings.
Qualifications:
* Fluency in Japanese and English, both written and spoken.
* Minimum of 4 years of experience in a senior management role, preferably within the gaming sector.
* Proven track record of successfully managing and growing a business or product line in Japan.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
* Business growth mindset with a focus on coordinating product/service offerings and executing marketing strategies.
