Electrical Designer - Madrid - Ref.: 23167
1- EDUCATION - ROLES:
Bachelor (USA), BTEC 3 or National Diploma (UK).
Position roles and responsibilities:
* Autonomously generate electrical design drawings, installation drawings, tray routing plans, cable trenches, lighting plans and circuits, electrical plans for networks of grounding systems and lighting rods, design substations and electrical rooms.
* Design unifilar diagrams in conjunction with the specialist engineer, Connection plans, calculations and lightning implementation.
* Coordination between the other disciplines in the area and the tasks relative to the position.
* To interpret and generate design criteria in accordance with the specifications and regulations that apply to the project and the contract.
* Handling of design tools.
* Check the documentation of the sellers, detect changes and apply derived modifications in the general design of the plant.
* Carry out material counting.
* Capacity for conducting periodic revisions of the 3D model along with the client and the other disciplines involved, solving interferences and applying corrective actions when necessary.
* Contribute with inquire and problem solving on site during the execution phase of the project.
2- LANGUAGES:
Spanish fluently. English level to understanding of the specifications applicable to the project.
3- CAREER EXPERIENCE:
Five years experience in similar position in projects within the petrochemical industry, Oil&Gas and energy. Autonomy, proactivity and ability to work on a team.
4- COMPUTERS HABILITIES AND SOFTWARE:
- Microsoft Office
- Smart Plant 3D
- AutoCad or BrisCad
- Handling of the following would be valued software: AVEVA E3D, Microstation, Dialux.
5- ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
An immediate hiring is a requirement, so you should be a citizen of the European Union or have a valid Work Permit to work in Spain. It would be an option for candidates who match the requirements of the job position, with enough experience on the duties exposed, and a real level certification on engineering, to enable the procedure to obtain the residence permission in Spain and legal assistance to live and work in this country.
