This is what you can expect
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of laboratory equipment and infrastructure.
Conduct calibration of laboratory instruments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Coordinate external calibration services, ensuring timely execution and proper documentation.
Maintain an accurate inventory of all laboratory equipment.
Oversee the maintenance of laboratory facilities, including:
* Compressed air systems
* Uninterruptible power supplies (UPS)
* Electrostatic discharge (ESD) control measures
Identify and resolve anomalies in equipment, fixtures, and tooling.
Ensure compliance with quality and safety regulations (e.g., ISO 17025).
Manage inventory of calibration tools and spare parts.
Assist in continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability and performance.
This is what we expect
Required
* Experience in electrical and mechanical testing
* Proven experience in laboratory maintenance or a similar role.
* Strong understanding of electronic testing equipment and calibration procedures
* Familiarity with environmental testing equipment such as climatic chambers and thermal cycling systems.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good communication skills and the ability to document maintenance activities clearly.
* High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in electronics, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Desirable
* Higher Technical Certificate in Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
* Working knowledge of electronics and mechanical systems.
* Understanding of quality control, inspection, and metrology standards.
* Familiarity with ISO 17025 and other relevant industry standards.
* Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
* Communication skills in English (written and spoken).
