Senior Manager Financial Planning and Analysis
Purpose of the Role:
This is a key in-house tactical position for an organized, passionate, and growth-oriented future leader who understands how to create value for our shareholders. This strategic role will be a key influencer in driving sustainable top-line development across all product categories and customers, managing a finite amount of investment resources and ensuring that we consistently embed the consumer in our decision making and processes.
What you will do:
* Steer all Commercial and general FP&A priorities for Wholesale channel linked with turnover till gross margin development to ensure the delivery of committed business results for the Zone.
* Develop and monitor KPI’s for product categories and customers in Wholesale, short and long-term planning and bring responsibility into the business.
* Create transparency about business performance by analyzing and comparing data from different sources of information.
* Establish a valued business partnership with Sales and Marketing due to objective and holistic controlling support, copiloting towards Marketplace growth.
* Provide Finance Lead and Senior Management with correct, timely and in-depth analysis of both Financial and non-financial business KPIs or other ad-hoc reporting.
* Provide guidance and influence business partners to assist in making business decisions that support in achieving sustainable Brand strength and profitability.
* Develop and implement creative process improvements and best-known practices while simplifying current financial management processes and analytical tools.
* Specific focus will be required on processes that can act as a key enabler for adidas to become even more consumer obsessed.
* Liaise with Europe and South commercial and finance departments of all channels to shape and drive growth for Southeast Europe marketplace.
* Lead or participate in cross functional projects as required.
* Coordinate and drive improvements of internal controls.
Skills you will need:
* Demonstrated analytical and financial modeling skills, comfort with Finance and Accounting principles and strong financial statement analysis.
* High degree of customer and consumer orientation.
* Independent handling of a variety of tasks with different level of complexity by developing effective plans and organizing work efficiently.
* Acting in a goal and solution-oriented manner, be able to prioritize and complete tasks in order of importance.
* Ability to navigate in complex international environment to influence and enable key business partners.
* Ability to motivate the colleagues and support shift toward growth mindset.
* Advanced degree or qualification in Business, Finance, Economics or Accounting (e.g. MBA or CPA).
* Familiarity with SAP, Power BI, Fiori App and other relevant adidas and industry Finance systems/analytical software a major plus.
* 7+ years of broad based operational and strategic finance experience with progressive responsibility in industry leading companies.
* Language skills: English spoken and written as well as local language appreciated.
