We are looking to hire an Account Manager with a minimum of 8 years of experience in similar positions. This position holder is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Account Management for key accounts in a defined geography.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Guide and support the local team in all business areas, including pre-sales, project implementation, and post-sales.
2. Serve as the main point of contact for escalations and coordinate resources for the underlying account.
3. Develop Account Planning Sessions for the Key Accounts and Prospects in the territory.
4. Manage the funnel with continued lead generation and manage opportunities through their cycle until a PO is received.
5. Qualify opportunities with the support of the Pre-Sales (SE) team.
6. Coordinate meetings with customers and prospects across various departments.
7. Define pricing strategy and negotiate commercial conditions and Ts&Cs.
8. Coordinate and co-lead the kick-off session for projects awarded in the territory.
9. Represent the company as the local spokesperson.
10. Develop a segment/market penetration strategy and associated account strategies.
11. Partner with the Product Marketing team in new product and campaign rollouts.
12. Coordinate and collaborate with sales engineering (Pre-Sales) and PS teams on the RFI/RFQ process.
13. Lead teams and participate in customer lab evaluations and field trials as part of the sales process.
14. Communicate the value of our products and services to both customers and internal teams, highlighting features and benefits at a Sub-Systems level.
15. Stay informed about industry trends and developments by attending shows, conferences, and participating in forum discussions.
16. Keep internal systems updated with all aspects of the business (forecast, funnel management, training, IT security requirements, etc).
Position Qualifications / Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry-related experience.
2. Minimum of 5 years of prior sales experience working in a Field Sales role.
3. Clear understanding of the Telco Operations and Processes.
4. Prior experience with Networking and Telco OSS Platforms solutions is essential.
5. MUST be fluent in the local language and English; Spanish is a plus.
6. Must possess a drive for results and demonstrate a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales objectives.
7. Must possess a strong focus on customer service and be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle.
8. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to effectively articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users.
9. Must work independently and drive sales to closure.
10. Must be able to maintain a functional home office and travel extensively by air and car within the assigned territory or region.
